Welcome to Osborn School!
The elementary school years lay the foundation for a child’s educational journey. It’s when children first learn how to contribute to a community, value diverse points of view, embrace learning as a life-long experience, and face challenges with the understanding that successes and failures are equally important. Osborn School strives to support families as students navigate these benchmarks.
We are extremely fortunate at Osborn School to have many dedicated and talented educators who work diligently to provide exciting, challenging, and authentic learning experiences for all of our learners. Our classrooms are filled with students with various learning styles, interests, and readiness levels, which awards the educators the opportunity to celebrate students’ differences and provides a myriad of learning opportunities.
Our partnership with parents is the most important component in the children’s academic and social growth. We encourage you to contact us with questions or concerns and also to take advantage of the many opportunities to get involved in the school. Whether it’s a regular commitment to the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), sitting on one of the school’s 40+ committees, or pitching in at an event such as the Scare Fair, book fair, or international festival, any time you can share with us will allow you to learn more about the amazing experiences the children have at Osborn School.
Thank you for your support. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we look forward to a wonderful year collaborating with you to carry out our school mission, Fostering Academic Excellence and Character in all of our learners!

Welcome to special education!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as the elementary supervisor of special education. As an educator, I believe that inclusive education significantly contributes to the educational experience of all children. I understand that every learner is different, and we must tailor our approaches so that each child can learn in their own way and be as successful as possible.
I value diversity in all of its forms including diversity in learning styles. I believe that focusing on inclusion in all of our classrooms strengthens our student's experiences and the school community and directly supports the tenets of The Rye Commitment.
I welcome the opportunity to collaborate and work with all families to support every child. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions.
